Our last wedding of 2019 was that of Rachel and Dean at Healey Barn in Northumberland. Healey Barn with its cosy interior and candle lit ceremonies could not have been more perfect for their winter wedding. Rachel enjoyed a relaxing morning with her girls at the Lord Crewe Arms while the lads got ready at Healey Hall, before joining their wedding guests for their ceremony at Healey Barn. It was a gorgeous day with a chilled vibe and was a real delight to attend.

Healey Barn - Kirsty and Adam

Over two years ago Kirsty and Adam were searching for a venue for their wedding.  They wanted something a little different from the norm, stylish but relaxed, somewhere in the countryside and somewhere close to where they grew up.  During their search, they were told about Healey Barn, a brand new wedding venue - at the time still in it's planning stages.  The took a leap of faith and became one of the first couples to book.  

It felt like forever before the day finally arrived, a little grey and overcast but the day certainly didn't disappoint.  The beautiful ceremony at St Andrews church in Corbridge was followed by their relaxed wedding reception at Healey Barn, a few photographs in the nearby fields and woods, and some fantastic evening entertainment from the local boy band - the Boyz.  

It was a wonderful day with a truly fantastic couple and having previously photographed Adam's brother's wedding at Matfen Hall it was a joy to work with the family once again.
