So it’s that time of year again, time to share with you what we feel is our best work of 2022, and where do I even start? I think the best place to begin is to say a huge thank you to all of our couples who trusted us to capture their wedding day memories. It is the biggest joy being a part of your special days. I love looking back at your pictures, seeing familiar faces again, and remembering all the fun we had together. Thank you to each and every one of you, from the bottom of our hearts.
2022 was another very busy year for us, with 82 wonderful weddings, each completely unique and utterly memorable in its own way. Due to the pandemic, postponements from 2020 and 2021 made up around a third of our work, on top of what was already a busy year. We gave each wedding our all, and I am so proud of the work that we have produced. It’s safe to say that this year (2023) will not be nearly so busy - it’s time now to get back to normal!
During our 17 years of photographing weddings around the North East, we have worked at most of the region’s wedding venues, however, it has been wonderful to discover a host of new venues for the first time, including The Spanish City, Anarchy Brewery, Thief Hall, Bradbury Glade, and Shortflatt Tower. It was also wonderful to be back again at many regular haunts such as Healey Barn, Beamish Hall, Newton Hall, Wynyard Hall, Ellingham Hall, South Causey Inn, and Le Petit Chateau.
So, let’s get on with it! Here is our ‘best of 2022.’ If you would like to see our previous “best of” collections, you can find them here. If you like what you see, and are looking for a wedding photographer for your wedding, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your big day, we’d love to hear from you.
