Allerton Castle is a stunning 19th Century gothic house in North Yorkshire and without a doubt, one of the finest wedding venues in Yorkshire. In the 1700’s, the Allerton estate was the home of the duke of York, the hill and monument within the Castle’s grounds are said to be the inspiration for the children’s rhyme, The Grand Old Duke of York.
